Privacy

Last updated: August 15, 2026
The short version. We run no analytics and no advertising trackers on any of our sites. Most of them collect nothing at all. The ones that do are listed by name below, because a privacy policy that describes a site you are not on is worthless.

What we do not do

Sites that collect personal information

These sites have a form. If you fill it in and submit it, you are sending us that information on purpose, and we receive it.

SiteWhat it collectsWhere it goes
omericastudios.comName, email, messageNetlify Forms
omericaintakeformClient project intake detailsNetlify Forms
aidahomesnj.comContact details you submitNetlify Forms
komal-vallabhContact details, sample order contentsNetlify Forms
ecoquestgo.comReport text and a photo you choose to uploadNetlify Forms
halalhelper.comContact details you submitWeb3Forms (api.web3forms.com), a third-party form processor

We use submissions only to reply to you and to do the work you asked about. We do not add you to a marketing list. To have a submission deleted, email omer@halalhelper.com.

Sites with accounts

The Client Portal is a working prototype with real sign-up, messaging, and file upload, provided for project communication with our clients. Do not send Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, photographs of identification documents, health records, or any other sensitive personal information through it.

Use email or another agreed channel for anything sensitive. If you have already sent something you would like removed, email omer@halalhelper.com and we will delete it.

How portal data is held: account passwords are stored only in salted, hashed form and are never kept in plain text. Messages and files you submit are stored so we can work on your project; they are protected by account authentication but are not end-to-end encrypted, so treat the portal like email, not like a vault. Payments offered through the portal run on Stripe's own checkout pages; your card details go to Stripe and never pass through our systems.

Camera and microphone tools

Several of our tools ask permission to use your camera or microphone to read your movement, posture, or gestures: TaiChiCam Pro, Omerica Movement, PostureCoach, our yoga posture tool, Stillpoint, Air Keyboard, BirdChirps, ChirpCanvas, and the Sound Machine.

Your video and audio are processed inside your browser and are never transmitted to us. We inspected the code of each of these tools and none of them contains any network call that sends camera or microphone data anywhere. We do not receive it, see it, or store it. Nothing is recorded unless the tool gives you an explicit save or export control, in which case the file stays on your own device.

One honest caveat. Some of these tools load their pose-detection library and model files from jsDelivr and Google Cloud Storage: this applies to TaiChiCam Pro, PostureCoach, the yoga posture tool, and Stillpoint. Downloading those files reveals your IP address and browser version to those content delivery networks, in the same way that loading any file from any website does. Your camera data is still not part of that request. The remaining tools contact no third party at all.

Tools that handle your files

Obscura (all editions), Odrive, and our label-printing tools open files you choose. Those files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us.

For the current Obscura edition this is enforced by the browser, not just promised: the site sends a Content Security Policy of connect-src 'self' blob:, which blocks the page from transmitting anything to another origin. Obscura also watches its own network activity and shows you what it did, so you can confirm the claim rather than take our word for it.

Bluetooth and EEG

Our EEG demonstration connects to a Muse EEG headband over Web Bluetooth, with your permission, and reads brainwave band power. That data is used only to drive what you see on screen. Your browser will ask before any device is paired, and you can revoke the permission at any time.

Browser storage

Many of our sites save settings, progress, or game state in your browser using localStorage. That data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is not a cookie used for tracking. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Hosting and logs

All of our sites are hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes standard request data such as your IP address in order to serve the page and protect the service. That is Netlify's processing and is governed by Netlify's own privacy policy.

Third parties involved

Children

Our sites are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email omer@halalhelper.com. Because we hold very little, most requests are answered quickly, and always within a reasonable time. We will not charge you or treat you differently for asking. If we decline a request, we will say why, and you can reply to ask us to reconsider; New Jersey residents can also raise concerns with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not process personal data for targeted advertising or profiling. Our sites are currently below the applicability thresholds of the New Jersey Data Privacy Act; we honor the requests above voluntarily, and we check our position against those thresholds as our audience grows. Because nothing on our sites tracks you across sites, universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control ask for something that is already true here.

Security incidents

If a breach of security affects personal information we hold about New Jersey residents, we will notify affected people without unreasonable delay, consistent with N.J.S.A. 56:8-163, after making any report required to the New Jersey State Police. If login credentials are affected, we will deliver that notice by a method other than the affected email account.

Do Not Track

Our sites run no analytics and no trackers, so a browser Do Not Track signal changes nothing: there is no tracking either way.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we will update this page and the effective date at the top before the change takes effect. If a material change affects portal account holders, we will also email them. This page is kept against a written data inventory, so that what it says matches what the sites actually do.
